Covenant Discipleship Groups
The
purposes of Covenant Discipleship Groups (CDG) are to:
·
Provide an environment for spiritual transformation
–relationship with God
·
Facilitate discipleship development
·
Practice inner and outer disciplines
·
Develop close relationships among group members
Each group consists of four to 10 members and is lead
by a trained leader. The CDG identifies a “covenant” (for example, be
present at all meetings; respect each other; practice disciplines between
meetings) and schedules six to eight sessions with meetings lasting
approximately an hour and a half. The group decides where and when
meetings will occur.
Contact Dan Long (784-8800), David DeBarthe (784-6491), or Lorrie Long (442-5160) if you would like to participate in a
Covenant Discipleship Group.
