Worship Center Committee

Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are needed to help people in the Lamoni community when they move.  If you would be willing to be on a list to be contacted when the need arises, please call Jennifer Boswell (784-6571).

Grief/Loss Small Group

The Pastoral Care team would like to offer a Grief/Loss small group experience to anyone who might be interested.  If you would like more details, please contact Judy Badder (ph. 784-3738) or Becky Willis-Shantz (ph. 784-8133).

Audio/Visual Operators Needed

With the installation of our new sound and audio/visual system we are in need of people, young and old, male or female, to help with the services. We will need people to create and display graphic material for the projection screen as well as setting up microphones for special music and events. We will train individuals interested in this very important service to the congregation. Please contact Ron Ellis if you are interested in helping out.

Covenant Journey

All ages are invited to join those already participating in the Covenant Journey for Spiritual Formation. We know that spiritual formation is a lifelong process through which, if we open ourselves to it, the Holy Spirit makes us ever more into the image of Christ. It is God's grace and initiative that awaits our invitation and daily attention. It is that 'dailyness' that is sometimes hard for us to maintain. The Spiritual Formation Team wants to assist all in the Lamoni Heartland Mission Center on this journey. When you accept this invitation you will be given resources that will offer new ways for you to deepen your prayer life through practices that have served so many through the ages. A spiritual companion will accompany your journey by holding you in prayer. Covenant forms and resource booklets are available in each congregation and at the Mission Center offices.
